Indulgent heart-shaped treats combining creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate — perfect for Valentine’s Day.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • Flaky sea salt (optional)
  • Toasted peanuts, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Cocoa nibs or crushed freeze-dried raspberries (optional)
  • Edible gold dust or luster dust (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth for the filling.
  2. Melt chocolate with butter using a microwave or double boiler until glossy.
  3. Spoon a thin layer of melted chocolate into heart molds and let set slightly.
  4. Add the peanut butter mixture into the molds, leaving a margin.
  5. Cover with more melted chocolate and smooth the surface.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for 45–60 minutes until set.
  7. Gently pop the hearts from the molds and smooth any imperfections.
  8. Optionally, finish with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.

Notes

These treats can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container for up to two weeks. Elevate presentation with thoughtful plating or gifting techniques.
