Description

These Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are tender, crunchy, and coated in a sweet-spicy Bang Bang sauce. Perfect for an easy dinner, party appetizer, or game day snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillets (skinless), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil or cooking spray, for baking or frying
  • For the Bang Bang Sauce:
    • ½ cup mayonnaise
    • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
    • 12 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to taste)
    • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lightly grease with olive oil or cooking spray.
  2. In one bowl, place the flour. In a second bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, mix Panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each salmon cube first in the flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat in the seasoned Panko mixture.
  4. Arrange the breaded salmon pieces on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden and crispy. (Alternatively, air fry at 400°F for 8–10 minutes or pan-fry over medium heat.)
  6. Meanwhile, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey in a bowl to create the Bang Bang sauce.
  7. Toss the hot salmon bites gently with the Bang Bang sauce or drizzle over the top.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions and serve immediately!

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil for the last 1–2 minutes of baking.
  • Want it spicier? Add more sriracha to the sauce.
  • Serve with rice, in tacos, or over a fresh salad for a complete meal.
