- 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 packets dry Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 30 oz canned green beans, drained
- 24 oz bite-size potatoes, halved
- Optional: chopped carrots, chopped celery, garlic powder
Instructions
- Layer the halved potatoes at the bottom of your crockpot.
- Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts on top of the potatoes.
- Sprinkle both packets of Lipton Onion Soup Mix evenly over the chicken.
- Pour the chicken broth over the layers.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add the drained green beans to the crockpot.
- Slice or shred the chicken and gently stir everything to combine and coat in the broth before serving.
Notes
For a different flavor, substitute chicken breasts with thighs or use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.
