Ingredients
Scale
Essential Ingredients:
- 3 russet potatoes (about 300 grams each)
- 1½ tablespoons oil (olive or vegetable oil)
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
Optional Add-Ons:
- Butter
- Sour cream
- Chives or green onions
- Shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, etc.)
- Bacon bits
- Steamed or roasted broccoli
Instructions
- Prep the Potatoes: Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Pat dry with a towel. Poke each potato a few times with a fork to allow steam to escape during cooking.
- Season: Rub the potatoes with oil and season all over with salt and pepper.
- Air Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket with space around them. Air fry for 35–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the skin is crisp and a fork easily pierces through the center.
- Serve: Slice the potatoes open and fluff the insides with a fork. Add your favorite toppings like butter, sour cream, cheese, chives, or bacon bits.
Notes
- Cooking time may vary based on the size of your potatoes and your air fryer model.
- To check doneness, insert a knife or skewer into the center—it should slide in easily.
- Leftover potatoes can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the air fryer.
