Ingredients

Scale
  • Essential Ingredients:
    • 340g ready-to-drink protein beverage (your favorite flavor)
    • 85g Greek yogurt
    • 2 tbsp powdered peanut butter
    • 2 tbsp instant pudding mix
    • 10g unflavored collagen powder (optional)
    • 1/41/2 tsp guar gum or xanthan gum (optional)
  • Final Mix Ingredients:
    • 350g Greek yogurt
    • 55g milk or milk substitute (almond or coconut)
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1.5 tbsp protein powder (optional)
    • Sweetener to taste (optional)
  • Additional Flavor Boosters:
    • 340g milk or milk substitute (almond or coconut)
    • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
    • 425g cottage cheese
    • 115g milk or milk substitute
    • 3060g milk or milk substitute (for final re-spin)
  • Optional Mix-Ins:
    • Crushed cookies, chocolate chips, or sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In your Ninja Creami container, combine the protein beverage, 85g Greek yogurt, powdered peanut butter, pudding mix, and any optional ingredients like collagen or gum.
  2. Let the mixture sit uncovered for 5–10 minutes to hydrate the powders.
  3. Optionally, blend all ingredients (especially if using cottage cheese) for a smoother texture before freezing.
  4. Secure the lid and freeze the container overnight or until solid (at least 12–24 hours).
  5. Remove from freezer and let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  6. Place the container in the Ninja Creami machine. Run on the ‘Lite Ice Cream’ setting.
  7. Check the texture. If needed, add 30–60g milk or milk substitute and use the ‘Re-Spin’ setting.
  8. Add mix-ins (if using), then press the ‘Mix-In’ button.
  9. Scoop and serve immediately, or refreeze for later.

Notes

  • Use flavored protein drinks and pudding mixes to experiment with flavor combinations.
  • Guar gum or xanthan gum improves creaminess but can be skipped.
  • Cottage cheese and Greek yogurt provide extra protein and creaminess with a tangy touch.
  • Customize sweetness and consistency to your liking using more or less milk or sweetener.
