- 4 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Olive oil for drizzling
- Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
- Combine Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Set up a dredging station with beaten eggs and breadcrumb mixture.
- Coat the chicken breasts and place them on the baking sheet.
- Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Ensure chicken is pat dry before dredging for the best crust. If using thicker chicken breasts, consider pounding them for even cooking.
