  • Yield: 12 energy balls 1x

Description

These Fig Energy Balls are naturally sweet, chewy, and nutrient-packed. Made with dried figs, dates, apricots, oats, walnuts, and nut butter, they’re the perfect wholesome snack to keep you energized throughout the day. Easy to make, no-bake, and customizable with your favorite add-ins!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 120 g dried figs
  • 60 g dried dates
  • 60 g dried apricots
  • 60 g porridge oats
  • 60 g walnuts, chopped
  • 3 tbsp nut or seed butter (almond, peanut, or sunflower seed)

Optional Add-Ons:

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds or flaxseeds
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients: Measure out dried figs, dates, apricots, oats, walnuts, and nut butter.
  2. Process: Add all ingredients to a food processor and pulse until the mixture has a coarse, dough-like texture. Scrape down the sides as needed.
  3. Portion: Scoop out about 1 tbsp of the mixture (around 36 g) for each ball.
  4. Roll: Roll into balls with your hands and place into a sealed storage container.
  5. Repeat: Continue until you’ve rolled about 12 balls in total.
  6. Store: Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • Substitutions: Prunes or raisins for figs, dried mango or cranberries for apricots, any nut for walnuts.
  • Sweeter version: Replace dates with a touch of honey or maple syrup (reduce nut butter slightly).
  • Texture tip: If the mixture feels too dry, add 1–2 tsp of water or extra nut butter.
