  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Top with remaining ¼ cup chopped pecans.
  9. Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
