Lobster and Prosciutto Pasta is a luxurious, flavorful dish featuring tender lobster, savory prosciutto, and a vibrant tomato basil sauce. It’s the perfect meal for special occasions or a deliciously indulgent dinner at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (linguine or fettuccine)
  • 1 lobster tail, cooked and chopped
  • 4 oz prosciutto, sliced into strips
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Lemon zest (optional)
  • Peas or spinach (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add prosciutto and cook for 2–3 minutes until slightly crispy.
  4. Add cherry tomatoes and cook for another 3–4 minutes until they begin to soften.
  5. Stir in the chopped lobster and cook until heated through, about 2 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together.
  7. Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes or lemon zest if desired.
  8. Stir in fresh basil just before serving.
  9. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Notes

  • Use high-quality pasta and olive oil for best results.
  • You can substitute shrimp or crab meat for lobster if preferred.
  • Fresh basil adds the best flavor—avoid dried in this recipe if possible.
  • Add peas or spinach for extra color and nutrition.
