  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine melted butter and chopped chocolate, heating in 30-second increments until melted.
  3. Add granulated sugar to the warm mixture and stir until combined. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract, white vinegar, and red food coloring until evenly distributed.
  5. Sift together cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Fold in white chocolate chips if using.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  10. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
