- ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, chopped spinach, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
- Using a sharp knife, cut a pocket into the side of each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Stuff each chicken breast with the spinach and cheese mixture, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the stuffed chicken breasts for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the seared chicken breasts to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
