Description
Sticky Honey Garlic Sausage Pasta Skillet is a one-pan, sweet-and-savory comfort meal packed with juicy sausage, tender pasta, and a mouthwatering honey garlic glaze.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz Italian sausage (or chicken/plant-based sausage), sliced
- 8 oz short pasta (penne, rigatoni, or rotini)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, adjust to taste)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes.
- Push sausage to the side of the skillet. Add minced garlic to the center and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Toss the sausage to coat in the sticky sauce.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is fully coated in the sauce.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- Use high-quality sausage for the best flavor — spicy sausage adds an extra kick!
- If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of pasta water to loosen it up.
- For extra veggies, toss in spinach, bell peppers, or broccoli with the pasta.
