Description

This quick and festive Strawberry Valentine’s Chex Mix combines crunchy cereals, salty pretzels, and sweet freeze-dried strawberries, all coated in creamy white chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Chex cereal (rice Chex preferred)
  • 3 cups Very Berry Cheerios
  • 2 cups pretzel twists or sticks, broken into pieces
  • 1 oz bag (about 1 1/4 cups) freeze-dried strawberries
  • 9 oz white chocolate
  • 1 Tablespoon coconut oil
  • Sprinkles, for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add rice Chex, Very Berry Cheerios, broken pretzels, and freeze-dried strawberries. Stir to distribute.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate and coconut oil. Microwave in bursts, stirring until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted white chocolate over the cereal mixture and fold until mostly coated.
  4. Add sprinkles and any optional add-ins, folding them in gently.
  5. Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Once set, break into clusters and store in an airtight container.
