  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced (choose ripe, sweet berries)
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam or preserves (amplifies the strawberry flavor)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for dusting or glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream (optional, makes glaze silky-smooth)
  • 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs (optional, adds shortcake flavor crunch)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Roll out crescent dough and press seams together to form a sheet. Cut each can’s dough into 4 rectangles for a total of 8 rolls.
  4. Spread a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture onto each rectangle, leaving a border around the edges.
  5. Top with a few diced strawberries and a small spoonful of strawberry jam.
  6. Gently roll up each rectangle starting from the short edge, tucking in sides if needed, and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
