Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
- Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl, then gradually fold into the wet mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips and diced strawberries gently.
- Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on wire racks before serving.
Notes
Chill the dough for 15-30 minutes before baking for thicker cookies. Add flaky sea salt on top post-bake for enhanced flavor.
