Instructions
- Prepare the Candied Walnuts:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toast the walnuts in a small pan over medium heat for about 4 minutes.
- Make the candied mixture with butter, sugar, and salt until bubbly.
- Add toasted walnuts and mix for about 2 minutes before transferring to the baking sheet to cool.
- Prepare the Lemon Vinaigrette:
- Combine garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and honey.
- Emulsify by gradually whisking in olive oil and season to taste.
- Assemble the Salad:
- Toss the arugula with the lemon vinaigrette.
- Layer half of the arugula, grapes, goat cheese, and walnuts on a plate.
- Serve immediately for the freshest flavors.
Notes
For easy preparation, store-bought candied walnuts can be used and goat cheese can be substituted with feta.
