- 1 fresh pineapple (peeled, cored, and sliced into rings or spears)
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup dark rum (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grates.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, rum (if using), cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Brush the pineapple slices generously with the butter mixture.
- Place the pineapple on the grill and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until grill marks form and the edges begin to caramelize.
- Remove from the grill and brush with any remaining butter mixture.
- Serve warm as is, or top with vanilla ice cream, coconut flakes, fresh mint, or a dash of chili powder.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum or replace it with pineapple or orange juice.
