- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tablespoon Jell-O vanilla pudding mix
- A pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Chocolate chips (optional)
- Chopped nuts (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In your Ninja Creami container, add the skim milk, almond milk, protein powder, pudding mix, a pinch of salt, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract. Using a hand frother, blend everything until well combined.
- Freeze: Place the container in the freezer for 24 hours, making sure it’s completely frozen solid.
- Process: After 24 hours, remove the container and run it under hot water for about 60 seconds. Then, insert it into your Ninja Creami machine, ensuring that the surface is level.
- Churn: For your first rotation, select the Lite Ice Cream button. After processing, check the texture. If it feels powdery, return it to the machine and use the Respin button to achieve that desirable creaminess.
- Mix-in Candy Cane: Make a small hole in the center of the ice cream and carefully add the crushed candy cane. Use the Mix-in button once more to distribute the candy cane evenly.
- Serve and Enjoy: Once it reaches your preferred consistency, scoop it out and enjoy your Mint Chocolate Protein Ice Cream!
