No Knead Bread Rolls

Description

Quick and forgiving No Knead Bread Rolls that are soft, warm, and perfect for busy family nights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tsp instant dried yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 1/3 cups room temperature water
  • 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix the instant dried yeast, sugar, room temperature water, all-purpose flour, and salt in a large bowl. Stir until blended. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Pour the olive oil on the dough and gently mix it in. Let it rest for another 30 minutes.
  3. Fold the dough over itself using wet hands from all sides. Cover and let it rest for another 30 minutes. Repeat this folding process two more times.
  4. Dust a surface with flour, turn the dough onto it, and divide it into six pieces. Shape into rolls and place on a parchment-lined baking tray. Let them rest for about 15 minutes.
  5. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the rolls for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days, or freeze them for longer storage.
