- 2 tablespoons heavy cream (optional, makes glaze silky-smooth)
- 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs (optional, adds shortcake flavor crunch)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Roll out crescent dough and press seams together to form a sheet. Cut each can’s dough into 4 rectangles for a total of 8 rolls.
- Spread a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture onto each rectangle, leaving a border around the edges.
- Top with a few diced strawberries and a small spoonful of strawberry jam.
- Gently roll up each rectangle starting from the short edge, tucking in sides if needed, and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let rolls cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar or make a glaze by whisking powdered sugar with heavy cream and drizzle on top.
- Optional: Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top for added crunch and shortcake flavor.
